Dying Tomorrow
Over the last several years,
a month has not gone by
without someone I know dying.
Their doing so reminds me
how precious life is.
I never know when my last moment will be.
It got me thinking,
what if I knew I was going to die tomorrow.
What would I do today?
What would I do differently,
or would I do.
Then I realized it is not so much what I do
but the intention behind what I do.
Do I approach everything in my life
as if it were sacred?
Whether is my writing,
my teaching,
my cooking,
my crocheting,
my time with my wife,
my selling Pampered Chef,
or my reading,
it is not about the what
as much as it is about
the sacred in it
and the love I radiate through it.
If I knew I would die tomorrow,
nothing would change,
I would continue to see the sacred in all
and radiating love to others in the process.
